This is a specialized legal research database that you and your patrons have free access to through the WCCLS homepage (click on Government/Law under Periodicals). We're in the second year of the subscription and I haven't had many calls from you with questions. This could mean you're not using the database or that you find it easy to navigate. In either case, feel free to phone me if you have questions about it.

Note 1: IF you or a patron tries to link to HeinOnline from within a Journal-Title search, the link may or may not work properly - it may send you directly to HeinOnline (where you are asked for a user name and password), instead of through the WCCLS gateway where only a library card number is needed. WCCLS is working on this problem.

Note 2: You do have access to many of these same legal periodicals through other databases, BUT, HeinOnline is the only database with complete runs of their journals so if someone is looking for a 1923 Harvard Law Review, HeinOnline is the way to go.

HeinOnline used to be primarily a collection of law reviews and other legal journals, but it is now much, much more, so please take a look at it. Among other things, it is the ONLY database (not even Lexis or Westlaw) that has the full text of the Federal Register back to 1936, in PDF. No more microfilm needed!
