Due to the changes that have occurred in Medicare drug coverage over the last year or so, we may have patrons approach us with questions concerning which drug plan is the best for them.
Thanks to the Medicare website, the public can find the information they need.
All they need to do is go to the Medicare website at http://www.medicare.gov/ and then look on the right side of the screen where it says "Prescription Drug Plans." Under that heading they will need to click on the link titled "Compare." They will then have the option to search either for general information on the various drug plans or conduct a personalized search by entering the names of the specific prescription drugs that they are presently taking. They will find this search under the heading: 'Find and compare plans that cover drugs.'
Take a look at the site. It is pretty easy to use and I am sure will be of great help to those who are trying to make some very important choices.
